CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Certification is based on demonstrated competency rather than simply attending the three training modules. Throughout the programme, you will:

✓ Maintain a regular personal TRE® practice
✓ Complete practice case studies with real clients
✓ Participate in group supervision after each module
✓ Receive individual supervision and mentoring from your Certification Trainer

Once all supervision requirements have been completed and the required competencies demonstrated, you’ll complete a final online assessment with your TRE® Certification Trainer. Successful completion enables you to become a Certified TRE® Provider recognised by TRE® Global.

TRE® Provider Training

The TRE® Provider Training Programme is a year-long professional commitment, and your place is reserved specifically for you throughout the programme.

For those continuing into the Provider Training Programme, your place is confirmed when your first Certification Supervision payment is received.

In addition to your statutory rights, I offer a 7-day cooling-off period from receipt of your first Certification Supervision payment, during which you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Subsequent supervision instalments may be cancelled within 48 hours of payment. After this period, supervision fees are non-refundable.

Places are intentionally limited to ensure a high level of individual support, group supervision and learning throughout the programme. Once payments become non-refundable, they cannot be transferred to another person.

Kate Munden

About Kate

Kate Munden is a Global TRE® Certification Trainer and Mentor, trauma specialist and educator with over 30 years’ experience in embodiment, nervous system regulation and practitioner development. Alongside her private practice in Kent, she also works from Harley Street, London, supporting clients through trauma-informed, body-based approaches.

As Chair of the TRE® UK Association, and having been privileged to train directly with Dr David Berceli, the creator of TRE®, Kate is committed to maintaining the highest standards of TRE® training and professional practice. Today, she teaches and mentors TRE® Providers in the UK and internationally, with a particular passion for developing practitioners who are safe, thoughtful, discerning and deeply embodied in their work.

Kate’s approach to teaching is grounded in a simple philosophy:

TRE® begins with you.

She believes that becoming a skilled TRE® Provider is about far more than learning a protocol. Through personal practice, embodied experience, modern neuroscience and thoughtful supervision, practitioners develop the confidence, presence and clinical discernment to facilitate TRE® safely and skilfully with others.

Throughout her training, Kate places a strong emphasis on the art of safe co-regulation, ethical practice and developing the discernment to know when to intervene—and when the greatest skill is simply creating the conditions for the body’s own innate capacity to regulate and restore balance.

Alongside her work in TRE®, Kate is an EFT Mentor and Advanced Accredited Practitioner, having served for six years as Executive Director of EFT International. She is also an accredited Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Provider, an Integrated Energy Psychology Practitioner, an experienced bodyworker and a member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP).

Kate works with a wide range of presentations, with particular expertise in post-traumatic stress (PTS) symptoms, the effects of narcissistic and coercive emotional abuse, chronic pain and anxiety. Alongside training TRE® Providers, she offers one-to-one TRE®, embodiment coaching and professional mentoring from her clinics in Harley Street, London, and Kent.
